Virtual Counselling Across British Columbia
Confidential online therapy sessions with a licensed therapist.
What is Virtual Counselling?
At its heart, virtual counselling is about connection. Even though we’re not in the same room, the space we create together is just as real, safe, and supportive. Through secure, private video sessions, clients across British Columbia can meet with me from wherever they feel most comfortable—whether that’s a quiet corner at home, an office, or a peaceful outdoor spot with Wi-Fi.
What matters most isn’t the technology, but the relationship. Counselling online allows us to slow down, pay attention, and explore what’s showing up for you—without the stress of commuting or being limited by geography. For many, it feels easier to open up when they’re in a familiar environment.
Virtual sessions also bring flexibility. Life doesn’t always fit neatly into schedules, so being able to meet online means therapy can adapt to you. It’s not about forcing a structure—it’s about meeting you where you are, literally and emotionally.
In the end, virtual counselling offers the same depth of support as in-person therapy: a place to be seen, to be heard, and to discover the strengths and values that help guide you forward.

About Me
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by real-life experiences including living with illness, navigating anxiety and self-doubt, finding love and self-trust, and learning to grow through challenge. These and other parts of my life have taught (and continue to teach) me empathy, patience, and curiosity—and these values guide how I show up with clients. Grounded. Open. Focused deeply on what seems to matter.
FAQ
-
Yes. Research shows that virtual counselling can be just as effective as in-person therapy. Many clients even find it easier to settle into sessions when they’re in a familiar environment like their home. The work we do together isn’t about the medium—it’s about the connection we build and the support you receive.
-
I do. Couples often appreciate the flexibility of meeting virtually, especially when they live in different locations or have busy schedules. Online sessions can provide the same space for communication, reflection, and growth as in-person counselling, while making it easier to fit into everyday life.
-
Most extended health plans in British Columbia cover counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Since coverage varies, it’s best to check directly with your provider. I’m happy to provide detailed receipts so you can easily submit them for reimbursement.

All you really need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection. Sessions take place through a secure, encrypted video platform designed to protect your privacy. Headphones or earbuds can help improve sound quality and create more privacy, but they’re optional.
